Protect vehicle exterior with interior walls
At the same time as you're getting a new vehicle outfitted for business, it makes sense to spend a iittle more to protect your investment. By having the interior walls lined before having shelves installed, you protect the vehicle exterior from getting dented from the inside. Lining the walls costs a fraction of the cost of exterior body work and painting down the road. At Treadwell, we line walls with a flexible and tough 1/4" polyboard manufactured here in the GTA. Made from waste materials, this stuff outperforms any other panel product -- and it's good for the environment too. We use the same product in 1/2" for vehicle floors. It's so tough we've even taken floors out of old vans and installed them in new ones.

Mercedes Sprinter -- Room for a workbench
For contractors and trades who need a mobile shop, the Sprinter is top of the line. We can install 60" high shelving and loads of storage in the Sprinter cargo area. We recently installed a workbench and drawer system for a marine mechanic who works from his Sprinter at marinas across the province. Click this link to see photos.February 2010
Ford Transit Connect -- Just don't call it "cute!"
The Ford Transit Connect gets lots of buzz wherever it goes and our shop at Treadwell Van & Truck Outfitters is no exception. We recently outfitted a Transit Connect for an HVAC firm with our own Treadwell brand of ladder rack, along with a Ranger Design partition and shelving unit, an Adrian Steel freon tank holder and Fleetguard rubber flooring. Everyone who came by while we were working on the van found an excuse to go back into the shop and check it out!
